Four more blocks are finished for my long term project - the Omigosh quilt. This brings the 2015 total of completed double nine patch blocks to 64, which means that 2 years into the project, the blocks are approximately 25% completed.
Hop over to RSC and see what the quilters are up to this month. Angela is cooking up a new scrappy project for us for 2016. I'm not sure if I want to start another project when I should be finishing my other 8 rainbow quilts, many of which are so close to finishing!
Finish 2 start 1? OMG is looking great.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that some of those 8 rainbow quilts are with reach for the finish. Staring a new project is always a nice way to celebrate a finish! Seriously though, I am feeling the finishing urge too. I even resisted the newest Bonnie Hunter Mystery. Feeling very virtuous.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how you were coming along on Oh my Gosh! It is going to be worth all the time you put into it!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to take part in the rainbow challenge for 2016. Really having a hard time figuring out what the "focus" block will be, though :(
ReplyDeleteLOVE those tiny 9-Patch blocks!! Especially in LIME GREEN!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the lime! Omigosh is right!
ReplyDeleteThe lime green oh my gosh blocks are so showy. With only 25% finished, you'll just have to continue the OMG quilt into 2016. (Just how big are the blocks?)
ReplyDeleteIf I were to bet I would say you will be starting a new scrappy challenge quilt....just saying. I read your blog you know. Accidental starter.....hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteGood luck not starting another scrap challenge. Is that even possible for you? *LOL*
ReplyDeleteI think I have reached my saturation point on starting new big projects. Little quilts will always happen, but I really need to feel some finishes on big stuff before I can launch another large quilt.
Oh, you are doing Omigosh as a rainbow? That is a GREAT idea. Looking good!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely have more patience than I do with those tiny little blocks.
ReplyDeleteI second Julie above - you must have endless patience - beautiful blocks and lovely fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThose tiny blocks are sooooo cute.
ReplyDeleteLove the greens. I am really contemplating doing the 2016 one, I have not done one yet, but have followed along.
ReplyDeleteWell done! I need to count up my nine patches too! I think I've conquered the triangles, but I defiantly have some way to go on the nines.
ReplyDeleteAmazing perseverance, a long distance runner for sure. Lime is king! But the new year is so tempting, can we resist?
ReplyDeleteLove these greens!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I don't feel so bad about all the rainbow blocks hanging around my sewing room from the past years of the RSC Challenge =)
