It's Friday already and not much sewing went on around here this week. There was a lot of driving, co-ordinating, and organizing.
Here is the pile of quilts that I put in the Paris Fall Fair this year. It's quite a sense of accomplishment when you see them all together in one place, instead of being scattered throughout the house, on beds, and walls, and sofas. I enjoy going to fall fairs and seeing the wonderful displays of "homecrafts", canning/baking, flowers, animals, and photographs. But the weekend weather forecast is hot and humid, so I might not spend as much time there as I usually do. I might just have to crank up the AC and hang out in the sewing room! TGIF!
Lol@ the meme! That's what I like to do on Friday nights as well. Urban threads just came out with a series of embroidery patterns that say "I like to Party and by Party I mean: Stay home in my pj's and sew." The word sew is replaced with various crafts, like quilt or knit.
I would love to see that pile all out in the open, impressive. We are into that steamy, humid, hot, sweat like crazy stuff, too. I plan on putting the AC on and get some Orange blocks made.
Quite the stack of quilty goodness there! Great to share them with your community. Hope the weather is nice enough for the occasion. It would be fun to see a picture with the names of each quilt.
Beautiful pile of quilts! What an array of awesomeness!

What a pile of quilts! You certainly deserve a night of sewing. After all, you need to start a new pile for next year. :-)
