Slow Sunday Stitching

I have great slow stitching news to share today - I have finished the hand quilting on my "Always Home" wallhanging! I only had the straight line quilting left to finish on the bottom border, and now it's done and done.

The binding was ready to apply, and today I will have the great enjoyment of hand stitching it to the back of the quilt. I also have the hanging sleeve and the label ready to stitch down - very efficient if I do say so myself!

What are you stitching today? Link up your blog post below and share your hand stitching project with us.

  1. Wonderful accomplishment! I'm working on an autograph quilt for my sister and embroidering some Gail Pan pincushions. No pics, tho'. Have a great day!

  5. Great finish. I've an itching to do some hand quilting again. Need to find the right quilt first though

  15. Congrats on your finish. I'll be stitching the same project as last time, so, no new post about it. I've been cutting and machine sewing, so, it's time for something slow and relaxing. Hopefully I'll also finish thread basting my Churn Dash top, so that I can start machine quilting it. Thread basting is also slow stitching, at least it is for me.

  18. Finishing this project justifies starting the quilt vortex with me...

I love this one! Do you have a spot to hang it up after all of that hand stitching?
