Pink Blocks

Not much progress has been made on my rainbow scrap projects this week. I did sew 2 Alamo Star blocks (2.25") and 1 Omigosh block (5"). They are cute blocks... but they sure don't look like much up there on the design wall by themselves!

We are "enjoying" some intense winter weather here this month and we are expecting more snow today. However, we don't have nearly as much snow as the folks out east have. Look at this cute clip of how the dogs are dealing with the weather.
And to see how the rainbow scrap quilters are sewing their way through winter, hop over to SoScrappy.

  1. Even little bitty blocks add up over time. Staying in to sew sounds like a great way to avoid the winter weather. Hope you get some warm air soon to thaw it all out.

  5. That family is really snowed in!! Poor little puppy doesn't know what to do.
Pink has grown on me lately and I especially like that pink Omigosh block. How far along are you in the process of making as many of those blocks as you need? Will it take forever? : )
That pink and teal Alamo star block is a lovely combination.

  6. Those are such tiny blocks, I'm amazed. I was just making 9-patches that will finish at 3" square, and I thought they were small!

  7. Some progress is better than no progress, right. How lucky we are here in Victoria, BC to have the fruit trees blooming while others are faced with gargantuan amounts of snow.
