The February colour for the Rainbow Scrap quilters is pink. I have been using little pink Alamo Stars as my leader/ender pieces for this month's sewing, and this is my progress so far...
4 alamo star blocks using pink as either the star or the background.
Cute as a button!
It might not look like much, but what it means as a leader/ender project is 16 seams per block times 4 blocks = 64 seams sewn!

Cute little stars Kathy! What size are these? The original 6" or have you made them smaller.
ReplyDeleteLovely stars. Leader and ender projects are the best thing since sliced bread!
ReplyDeleteThose are such great star blocks! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteLove the boldness of these little Alamo Stars.
ReplyDeleteYou've used up quite a bit of pinks.
ReplyDeleteSo adorable...yet just this side of crazy.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are super cute!!
ReplyDeleteMost adorable Alamo little stars you have there! hugs and Happy Valentine's Day Julierose
ReplyDeleteCute stars. You are more patient than I. You've been making these for some time now! What a quilt these will make!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are beautiful. And that's a lot of seams sewn as leaders and enders"
ReplyDeleteThey are cute as a button. Nice pink batiks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use of your leaders and enders - nice pinks.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics, great little project!
ReplyDeleteOh, those are cute and the colors are luscious.
ReplyDeleteLove those colors! Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI like these blocks more every time I see them. The Twinkle Star blocks I'm making this year have the same base units. It is a lot of seams per block, they don't go fast!
ReplyDeleteLook like much to me. Those little blocks are labor intensive. But so worth it!
ReplyDeleteLove those pink stars.
ReplyDeleteYes they are cute as a button.
