New Project

It's Friday again and it's time for Grand Illusion's step #4 to be posted over at Quiltville. I would much rather sew than shop, but my procrastination is going to catch up with me soon!

In the meantime, I'm starting a new project for my spare time. My quilt guild is hosting a QPOM (quilt pattern of the month) this year to help us use up stash, and this is our 4th project. I am using up these Lario Moda charm packs and the brown yardage will be the "sticks". It should be a quick and easy pattern to sew, which is perfect for those times when you are avoiding shopping and would much rather stay home and sew!

  1. This year was a tough one for ideas for gifts for everyone! As usual I was still knitting right up till I had to mail the parcel out, but now I am finished and relishing in sewing with no guilt about what else I should be doing!!! Good luck to you!

  5. Every year I say I'm going to be finished early, every year I fail. I finished shopping yesterday because each morning instead of going shopping, I went into the sewing room.
This looks like a great pattern and a fun project. Another to add to the every growing list.

  10. Spare time? You don't have any of that, do you? : )
Looks like a fun project--visual interest without too much work. I like this pattern, and I think it will look great in your fabrics.
