I have started my "Quilt Pattern of the Month" (QPOM) for my local quilt guild. Here are the first few blocks on the design wall.
It's an easy pattern (by Jackie Syer) this month using a charm pack and a solid fabric for the middle "stick". It is the perfect project to sew during my post-Christmas recovery, since it requires very little brain power or organization!

Beautiful project Kathy! I wish you a wonderful New Year's Eve!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I like all the warm colors, perfect for sewing when it's cold and dreary out.
ReplyDeleteI have seen this pattern several times and think it will go well with some charm squares I have
ReplyDeleteNice and easy is perfect for this time of year. Your design wall looks great!
ReplyDeleteNice. I wonder what it would look like if one of the halves was switched with another block in the same colour family. I suppose you trimmed all the blocks.
ReplyDeleteSimple yet striking. It will be a lovely quilt.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun quilt this will be! I love easy, not much thinking required patterns. This would be fun to do with my bin full of random 5" squares.
ReplyDeleteA great block. I really like the material in the quilt.
ReplyDeleteGotta love the easy projects. Sometimes, they are exactly what is needed.
ReplyDeletePost Christmas Recovery? That good or was it that Bad? Glad you are having fun stitching whatever it is. Looks easy peasy!
ReplyDeleteSometimes simple is best.
ReplyDeleteLovely design, simplistic and wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI really like this--interesting, but simple. Needs to go on my "someday" list!
ReplyDeleteSimple and effective and fun. What's not to like? :)
