Orange Leaders/Enders

Today is the day for playing with my orange scraps. In my hand I hold the prepared pieces for 10 new Alamo star blocks. Each clip holds the scraps to make 2 star blocks. I am going to sew these as my leader/ender project this month. I am thankful to Bonnie Hunter for publishing this inspiring book and helping me to organize my little scraps so I can make interesting scrappy quilts.
To see what other quilters are sewing with their orange scraps, hop over to SoScrappy.
Have you been blog hopping to Beat the Winter Blues? Did you enter my giveaway?

  2. Great use for those little clips! I also bought Bonnie's book and am making tons of little 4- patches and 9- patches to use in future projects. Your orange blocks are going to be great!

  4. Love the Alamo stars. I like all the leader/ender projects going on in blog land. I just can't get the hang of working on two things at one time - a project and a leader/ender project.

  5. Glad you are having fun with your Orange scraps. I see a bit of purple and green in there too. Yes, I entered the giveaway and have been going through the ABC's blog hopping. Now it's time to get some stitching done so I have something to show for DWM, right??
