Design Wall Monday #47
This is what is on my design wall this week - 66 shaded four patch blocks for step #3 of the Easy Street mystery.
They are really pretty if I do say so myself! These blocks will be coming off the wall to make room for my Christmas quilt that is "in development" (and hasn't been seen since December of last year - sure hope I can find it in the UFO closet!).
Before these above blocks went up on the wall, the flying geese blocks for step #2 were up there.
And there's one renegade leader/ender block that hopped on the wall.
Get out of that flock of geese and back into the proper project box...don't you know I'm trying to be more organized?!?
Hop over to Patchwork Times to see what other quilters are working on this week and then over to Quiltville to see the Easy Street postings...
just love Mondays!
The colors you are using for Easy Street remind me of the Carribean.
ReplyDeleteI have been digging in the UFO pile and pulling out Christmas pieces that needed machine quilting. I have some new ones done for the holiday season.
You're doing great at keeping up with the Clues. My #3's are cut out. These colors aren't my normal pastel-y ones, but I'm going with them.
ReplyDeleteYour Easy Street quilt is looking good. I finally have enough black on white and finished Step 1 and working on step 2 :D
ReplyDeleteI've been watching (and printing out) the clues for Easy Street. I just love the color combos.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful units !
ReplyDeleteLove your new header too.
Nice job, getting closer now!
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand I hate to see it end. :)

ReplyDeleteYou are keeping up with the mystery so well! I am home now from all my traveling, so I'm really hoping to catch up and stay up with her from now on :*) Your units are so colorful, I am inspired!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful job on getting the Easy Street clues done. I'm hoping to catch up this week.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty patches and geese, Kathy! Hope the UFO search is successful :)
ReplyDeleteThe design wall is sporting some very pretty pieces today (and that poor little star getting scolded for trying to get in on the action). : )
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty blues and purples!! I love that lone block!! Looks like my stuff!! - always something out of place!
ReplyDeletei like the quilt setting in the header
ReplyDeleteWow! What a lot of work!
ReplyDeleteLucky you to have all your Steps finished. I'm still working on #2. I love how your colors are looking.
ReplyDeletePurples and more purples ... I'm in heaven on your page today!! :)
ReplyDeleteLike how your Easy Street is going. I thought since you showed Steps 3 and 2 that Step 1 would be next when I scrolled down. I'm all set for Step 4! Green next? Sandi
ReplyDeleteI love your colors! Just laying the blocks out like you have them make amazing quilts!!
ReplyDeleteLove your black on white fabric collection! Nice Easy Street blocks.
ReplyDeleteFun walls. When I get my units done for Easy Street, they go in plastic bags and all the bags are in a plastic box. I think that when we start putting things together, I will be surprised at what I find in that box. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWow! Don't the Mystery blocks look fabulous all laid out together!
ReplyDeleteLOVE those flying geese!! Just found you and am thrilled to find your "slow stitching".
ReplyDeleteblessings,
