Design Wall Monday #30

Today my design wall is a total mishmash of projects.
The bright blocks are from the Tetris Quilt Along, the bottom left star block is last month's Quilt Square Quilt Along block, the long strips are borders for my UFO of the month, and the cute little stars on the right are the Temecula Summer Star Sew Along
This design wall is either a testament to my lack of discipline when it comes to starting new sew along projects, and/or proof of my addiction, and/or evidence of my inability to sleep (more time for quilting, and for surfing the internet for more quilty inspiration). Or maybe it is just because I am cleaning up because my sewing machine is broken. It has only been gone a couple of days but I really miss it. I have a back up machine, but it doesn't do as nice a job on piecing, and can't do the machine quilting that my Brother 1500 does.
Hop over to Patchwork Times to see what other quilters are up to today while I get myself organized over here!
And you better grab a cup of tea because Bowls With Borders Blog Hop starts today...yippee! Hop over to Carol's blog to see the list of blogs on the hop...enjoy!

  1. LOL! LOVE the A.D.D. design wall today!
Machine still gone, huh? Anticipated delivery date?
Until then....cleaning (of the SEWING room ONLY) does a soul good! (? right?) :0)

  3. I like a mish-mash of projects on a design wall ... I think it's a sign of a very creative mind! (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!) I hope your sewing machine is back soon -- it's no fun to be without your preferred machine!! :)

  5. It is bad when you have a favorite machine and it isn't available. the projects just multiply like rabbits at your house. I'm going to pass on the whole Bowls blog hop, I might take one little peek. I really have to get off the Computer chair this week. Can't start anything NEW!!! Do you need a Back-up to your back-up machine? Go thrifting and find one like Bonnie.

  7. I love your design wall with its multiple personalities. Hopefully you won't spend the time while your machine is away dreaming up TOO many new projects to add to it.

  8. I love that you are working on so many different projects...that's the way I like to work, too. But maybe I should send my machine out so I can clean up some. I need to find the surfaces in the studio.

  9. Some of these things don't go with others, but they are evidence of your busy creative brain :) Aren't we lucky to have so much variety in our lives?

  13. I think I need to send out my machine so I can clean too! Oh well, I have until Sept 23 to get it clean for company... until then I sew! Love the multiple projects.... I think mine would take up the whole wall and then some.
