But perhaps I have been stalling because I like seeing it on the design wall so much!
Since I posted it two weeks ago, I have managed to add one more row of sashing and cornerstones, and one more row of blocks. I have the next row of blocks on the design wall and am trimming up more cornerstones. I just love how it's coming together and have an idea for making it a little bigger.

I put my Civil War Blocks up on my wall to remind me to make a few this month. You inspired me and Judy L chose that UFO for July. Sweet Treats is very cheerful.

ReplyDeleteI forgot to tell you yesterday that when you do applique, yes, sometimes you will have a wad of fabric that you have to deal with when doing applique. You really can do needle turn applique with a hoop. It would really get in your way. I never wear a thimble either. gets in my way.
