Design Wall Monday #17 -Sweet Treats

I started Judy's Sweet Treats Quilt Along as a special treat for myself...a May For Me project. It is very relaxing sewing, that can be worked on in small bits of time. I have the 30 blocks started and am cutting out the pieces for the next round which will not have any white fabrics because I think they will be the sashings (I reserve the right to change my mind at any time LOL). I am liking the addition of the red dots and orange dots, and plan to add in more of those.
Do you think it needs some yellow!?!
To see what other quilters have on their design wall today, hop over to Judy's Patchwork Times.
I enjoyed lots of family time  for Mother's Day...hope you enjoyed your day! I even had some "Me" time in the sewing room!
Later in the week I'll be posting baby news (no...not mine!), a shop hop report, UFO progress, a gardening update, and a fabric giveaway...come on back!

  7. Such a great quilt and I don't think you can ever have enough yellow in a quilt! Or dots...or purple...or orange....or well you get my idea. :)

  9. Indeed you need to add YELLOW. Frankly as I read your post I thought the sashing might be good in YELLOW since it seemed that you had a good amount of WHITE in the project so far. Is it a YELLOW Month? The Rainbow challenge looks like fun. Last years YELLOW project is very nice. Have fun with it during the quilting...what plans for emblishments do you have...oh don't say...I want to see it when you finish. Sandi
