My April UFO is finished!
Some of the side sashings look a little wobbly and they are!
This quilt top was a Layer Cake Quilt Along hosted by Konda at Moose on the Porch Quilts in 2010. My quilt blocks were made from a layer cake called "Happy" by Me and My Sister Designs.
Can you see how I really had to piece together some scraps to make the pieces for this particular block design?
I had fun with machine quilting each block using wavy lines.
This photo shows the wavy line quilting in the sashing out to the corner stars...
it was really fun to quilt.
The backing is the happy floral that is in many of the blocks on the quilt top, and the binding is one of my favorite black and white stripes. This quilt will be donated to the comfort quilt collection at my quilt guild.
