Civil War Wednesday

Here are the two latest blocks that I have sewn for my recently resurrected civil war sampler
Block #13 - Little Blue Basket was not fun to sew. It was OK until I decided to try to add a pieced handle like Vivian did, and it was downhill after that! But I think it turned out OK all things considered.

Block #14 - Fox and Geese was easy peasy!
I am almost half way there...block #30 was posted this week.

way to go you'll be caught up in no time
the basket block looks great w/that little handle!

Being heavily applique challenged, I'm liking the idea of a pieced handle!
Love the blue and brown colors.

Great work on the basket handle. Love your colors for this one. So pretty.

Your blocks look great with your colors, and your handle is fine. That basket was not the easiest of the bunch. You're moving right along. Catching up is easy when you do them several at a time like this.

The blue and brown look terrific! I see nothing wrong with your basket block but it does look pretty fussy to sew. Enjoy!

I really like the colours you have chosen. I haven't made any of these blocks but I am following along.
