I feel much better now that I have had some time with quilting friends, and time with my sewing machine!
Tonight I worked on my Saturday Sampler block - click here to see my other 12" blocks. I tackled a block that I found when surfing quilt guild blogs.
Block Name: Scrap Happy
Pattern Source: Florida Cabin Fever Quilter's Guild
This was a fun block to sew and just look what I have leftover to play with...a pile of baby half square triangles that will be 1 1/2" when I square them up!
I clicked on the link to see all your 12" blocks and they are going to make such a pretty quilt. There are a really nice variety of blocks.
ReplyDeleteI love that you sewed already the leftover pieces!
ReplyDeleteGreat block, that will be a looker quilt!
Have a great day!
I really like your saturday sampler, love the colors. I also looked at your UFO list on the sidebar: it looks kind of like mine = not as much completed as I/we would like. But when you get this sampler done you will really have something nice.
ReplyDeleteNice block!! Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteI was a member of Florida Cabin Fever Quilt Guild for many, many years. Your fabrics made a good block in this design.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how just a little time behind the sewing machine makes us feel better. I got to have some quality time this weekend too. Even did some free motion quilting, you know how I hate that. It looks not bad!
ReplyDeleteWow! This time I could see all your pictures. You are making some great quilts. I'm stuck on my triangles and wishing I'd get done....
ReplyDeleteI love this block.
