Permission to Play - blocks finished

The blocks are sewn for my "Permission to Play" quilt top. They were fun to sew and I am ready to add the corner triangles, but need to decide the layout before I can do that step.
I played around with the blocks on my design wall and here are my 3 options so far.
If you have a preference, leave a comment and help me to decide!
Layout A

Layout B

Layout C

  1. You sure sewed those blocks fast and did a very good job. My favorite is Layout B.

  2. To add to your dilemma: Do you have to sew them together with an obvious border and cornerstones?

  3. I'm thinking B too. Gorgeous blocks.

  4. i really like C, the way the blocks are turned draws attention to the interplay of the secondary circle shapes. Well done, whichever you choose!

  9. Holy Cow....you don't make it easy to chose do you? I'd say A if you like a more contemporary feel to go with that great colour combo
If you like the more traditional then C is a definite winner. They are all fabulous so you simply can't go wrong.

  10. C is my favorite but B is about equal. To me C has a "cleaner" look.

  11. Good luck Kathy! They are all wonderful. I was all set to vote for B until I read all the comments. So, I think I like C best. I do like the play of the secondary circles. Wow! And, by the way, do I win the top for making such a great suggestion?? LOL. Now, where is my quilt like that ... almost time to put it up as it is red, white and blue. B.

  13. I think Layout B plays with the fabrics very cleverly. They are all wonderful, but if I had to choose...B it is.

  14. Layout B. This one showcases diamonds, and there is a feeling of depth to the quilt with the diamonds floating on top.

  15. Layout B is my fav. It has much more movement than the other 2.
The blocks seem to spin, much like a real kalidescope.
C would be my 2nd choice.

  16. I really had to study this one, but layout B seemed to just flow, especially the outside blocks around the center blocks. It is much harder to try to choose from a photo than the actual quilt so go with the one you like the best. Remember, you only have to please yourself.

  18. I like C the best because you can see the secondary pattern of circles in that one. That is why I like that block!
